Images could refer to race, national identity or any other form of visual representation, today thought of as “politically incorrect” by the “misguided elite”. However, these images were the norm when made and perhaps influenced more able “minds” than we care to admit today.
This particular postcard was printed for use by a Catholic Italian Missionary Organization about 75 years ago or more and used to illustrate “life in different locations“. Surely not used in a denigrating way and probably accurately describing actual persons doing their job. Would this be “politically incorrect” at the time by the elite?
