With all the different sides pulling at the people of the Ukraine, let us see what one world famous Ukrainian/Russian author, Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn had to say to the Ukrainian people in one of his last books published in English with the title Rebuilding Russia, Reflections and Tentative Proposals.

The book measuring only 5×8 inches with 119 pages was first published in the U.S.S.R. in September 1990 as “How to Revitalize Russia“, in the Komsomolskaya Pravda, among the country’s largest circulation dailies.

This first English translation by Alexis Klimoff was published in 1991 by Farrar Straus and Giroux Publishers. The book design is by Debbie Glasserman. From the cover:

Interestingly enough this copy was, oh so much irony, you sweet loving Sons of Liberty, a discarded ex library copy from the Norman Williams Public Library in Woodstock, Vermont (pop.3200) 25 miles from Cavendish, Vermont. Cavendish,Vermont (pop.1470 year 2000) was the place in 1976 where Solzhenitsyn lived after he was exiled from the Communist Soviet Union in 1974.

Apparently, nobody cared enough to keep this book by a freedom loving writer in a public library (I am sure it took up shelf space) in that little socialist state run by communist philosophy and rhetoric loving US Senator, “selfie” Bernie Sanders (Just keep bringing Vermonters that “Free Bacon”, Bernie). Those diehard liberal Vermonters will be very very happy to know that even some Russian Communist Veterans do not want a monument for the great author, let alone a book in a library.

I wonder if Angela Merkel (supported by the Neo Conservative German Business Protectorate…ouch, who are now back in familiar WWII territory) or the pompous servile servant of the NWO (New World Order) Secretary of State Mr. John Kerry ever read anything by this great Russian and by his own admission half Ukrainian author? I am sure his great Minion Master has!
