gentlemanHistory and books are two very fascinating topics. Do you often wonder what lives in the minds of those who visit or live in a world city, a beacon of culture, a civilization?

img999Shown below, the book Published in Paris by Hugh Ford is a glimpse of what was then and what is now.

img998Pure chance, on my bookshelf, I found A Moveable Feast by Ernest Hemingway, shown below.

img891 img892Probably the short line, shown below, by Hemingway says it all.

img893Barely eighty years later, the books published in Paris by some of the authors above were considered risque, and sold in relatively small numbers. Some editions were banned in the United States and the United Kingdom, but in time those books survived and freedom of the press reigned almost uninterrupted until the Islamo Fascists appeared in the city and in most European cities.

Who remembers Salman Rushdie’s Fatwa? Who remembers Theo van Gogh’s death in The Netherlands? The world you are living in today is one of phony Popes, first a Hitler Jugend Pope and now a South American Marxist who will tell you what freedom of speech is. Of course, while the Catholic Church and most affiliated religions squander the gifts of their donors you must ask yourself what these Muslim lovers have done for persecuted Christians?

Angela Merkel Germany’s Chancellor, in a recent speech, told Germany’s Christians to speak more about their values and faith, at the same time condemned the Anti Islam marches held in Germany. The following information is found on the German newspaper Die Zeit website (translated) “In Germany there are about 3,000 mosques, many of which are registered associations are organized in associations. The Turkish Islamic Union (DITIB) have joined for example, 900 mosques. In the Islamic Council 450 mosque communities are united. Mazyeks Central Council of Muslims should by his own account 300 mosque associations belong. This number is however disputed by the other associations”.

Below photos from the Frankfurter Allgemeine newspaper in Germany showing a woman reading Charlie Hebdo and another reader holding up the latest Charlie Hebdo with Mohammed on the cover stating All is Forgiven, je suis Charlie. Clipboard01

Clipboard02Speaking up against muslim violence is not xenophobic speech, not even wishing them all to hell with many virgins, just in case you do not know the difference, try carrying a Bible on a street corner in Saudi Arabia and watch what happens you Islamo fascist loving Democrats. Of course, the big Democratic Party donors don’t give a damn, nor do the Republican donors who think they can snowball you in electing someone who will throw the elections at the last moment in 2016. THE SHOW MUST GO ON.

The best non violent expression of free speech was when the pundits who left a pig’s head at a local mosque on the French island of Corsica a few days ago. That pig isn’t talking and candidly I do not give a damn what the local mosque leaders tell the world (http://www.arabnews.com/featured/news/688351)

If you are a Christian refugee fleeing to Spain from Africa and there is a storm you take the risk of being thrown overboard like Jonah read the story in El Pais.

Not enough for you yet?

Here is news from the prestigious France Soir newspaper where Jean Marie Le Pen of the Front National political party declares: Probably the secret services allowed this to happen!

Sometimes I wonder if we live in the New Dark Ages, or much worse, in a spiritual bankrupt world.
